FRAUD – 12-5-14

A resident on the 33000 block of Somerset Drive, located in the area of 14 Mile and Van Dyke, reported that someone used her social security number to apply for a credit card.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – 12-5-14 BET. 0900 & 2100 HRS.

A resident on the 34000 block of Aquarius Drive, located in the area of 15 Mile and Ryan, reported that someone super glued the door locks to his apartment.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – 12-6-14

A resident on the 39000 block of Fraser Drive, located in the area of Mound and 17 Mile, reported that someone drove over his lawn and struck his mailbox which was destroyed.

LARCENY FROM AUTO – 12-6-14 BET. 0950 & 1105 HRS.

A patron of the Polish Century Club, located on the 33000 block of Maple Lane, parked and locked his vehicle in the lot.  When the victim returned to his car, he discovered someone had busted the rear driver’s side window out and stole the radio/navigation system and a text book.

LARCENY FROM AUTO – BET. 12-5-14 1700 HRS. & 12-7-14 1200 HRS.

The victim left his semi-tractor trailer in the lot located on the corner of 14 Mile & Van Dyke and when he returned discovered that someone had smashed out the passenger side window and took a Sony Playstation, toaster oven, and laptop computer.  Damage was also noted on the passenger side of the vehicle.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF – BET. 12-6-14 2200 HRS. & 12-7-14 1400 HRS.

A resident on the 11000 block of Clinton River Road, located south of 19 Mile, reported that someone egged his house and two cars that were in the driveway.

FRAUD – 12-7-14

A resident on the 42000 block of Willsharon Street, located in the area of 19 Mile and Mound, reported that she received a Verizon Wireless bill addressed to her.  The victim contacted Verizon and discovered someone used her social security number and address to open the account.

STOLEN AUTO – BET. 12-5-14 2000 HRS. & 12-6-14 0900 HRS.

A customer dropped his van off for service at a repair shop on the 34000 block of Mound, located south of 15 Mile.  The repair shop contacted the victim and stated that the van was gone and they are still in possession of the keys.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – BET. 12-7-14 1130 HRS. & 12-8-14 0930 HRS.

A resident on the 42000 block of Plum Lane, located in the area of 19 Mile and Ryan, reported that someone dented the hood of his vehicle which was parked in his driveway.

FRAUD – BET. 12-1-12 & 12-8-14

A resident on the 33000 block of Lakewood Drive, located in the area of Schoenherr and 14 Mile, reported that he noticed an unauthorized transaction on his debit account.  The victim began to check his account going back several months and observed at least 40 unauthorized charges all made at three grocery stores.

LARCENY FROM AUTO – 12-9-14 BET. 1230 & 1642 HRS.

An employee on the 38000 block of Mound Road, located south of 17 Mile, reported that her vehicle was parked in the lot and someone broke out the passenger side window with a large rock.

LARCENY – 12-9-14

A resident on the 42000 block of Parkside Circle, located in the area of 18-1/2 Mile and Van Dyke, reported that someone forced entry into her storage unit located in the basement of her apartment building.  Storage bins were stolen and the area was ransacked.

FRAUD – 11-13-14

A resident on the 11000 block of Danforth Drive, located in the area of Metropolitan Parkway and Dodge Park Road, reported that his wife ordered a football jersey on a website for $137 with her credit card. When the victim attempted to track the order, she discovered it was a fraudulent website from China.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – 12-9-14

A resident on the 41000 block of Hamilton Drive, located in the area of 18 Mile and Van Dyke, reported that someone vandalized his inflatable Christmas decorations in front of his home.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – 12-9-14 BET. 2000 & 2100 HRS.

A resident on the 8000 block of Strom Drive, located in the area of 19 Mile and Clinton River Road, reported that someone cut and deflated his blow up Christmas decorations in his front yard.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – BET. 12-9-14 2300 HRS. & 12-10-14 1820 HRS.

A resident on the 34000 block of Zimmer Drive, located in the area of 15 Mile and Ryan, reported that someone cut the cord on his outdoor Christmas lights.

LARCENY – 12-10-14 BET. 2140 & 2150 HRS.

A resident on the 39000 block of Academy Drive, located in the area of Dequindre and 18 Mile, reported that someone stole the outdoor Christmas decorations from her front yard.

STOLEN VEHICLE – 12-10-14 BET. 1420 & 2005 HRS.

An employee of Ford Motor Company located on Mound Road, reported that he parked his truck in the lot and when he finished working, discovered his truck was missing.

LARCENY FROM AUTO – BET. 12-9-14 2300 HRS. & 12-10-14 0900 HRS.

An on-site health care provider working on the 44000 block of Apple Blossom Drive, located in the area of M59 and Hall Road, reported that her laptop was stolen, the glove box was open and the contents were strewn about her car which was parked in the open garage of the residence.

LARCENY – 12-3-14

A resident on the 13000 block of Forest Ridge Blvd., located in the area of Schoenherr and Canal, reported that she received a delivery confirmation from UPS that they had left a package on her porch.  When she checked, the package was not there.

FRAUD – BET. 12-10-14 0900 HRS. & 12-11-14 2000 HRS.

A resident on the 8000 block of Strom Drive, located in the area of Clinton River Road and Canal, reported that she applied for an online loan and a man from the online company called her.  The suspect asked the victim to secure a $500 check card, give him the card number, and it would then be deposited into her account with the loan.    The victim did as instructed, and then called her bank, who notified her that the transaction was fraudulent.
