On Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014 members of the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department Detective Division along with members of the Plattekill and Fallsburg Police Departments Detectives and Patrol Divisions arrested RAHSAAN L PERRY, a 33-year-old Plattekill resident and charged him with Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, a class A-II felony and Criminal Sexual Act in the first degree, a class B felony.

These charges stem from an incident in the City of Poughkeepsie which occurred Dec. 2, 2014. During this incident PERRY sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl.

The Fallsburg Police Department will be filing a charge of Sexual Abuse first degree, a class D felony, against PERRY for an incident that occurred in November in Fallsburg that involved an 11-year-old girl.

PERRY was held pending his arraignment. The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department wishes to thank the Fallsburg and Plattekill Police Departments for their assistance in apprehending PERRY.
