FRAUD – BET. 3-17-14 & 7-23-14

A resident on the 12000 block of Whitfield Drive, located in the area of 17 Mile and Utica Road, reported that he received a call from a collection agency advising that his Verizon account was over $1,000 in arrears. The victim contacted Verizon and was notified that there were three numbers associated with this account. The victim states he did not open this account.

LARCENY – 12-19-14 BET. 0700 & 1700 HRS.

A resident on the 4000 block of South Hempstead Court, located in the area of 18 Mile and Mound, reported that someone stole her Christmas decorations from her front yard.   

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – 12-19-14 BET. 1630 & 2030 HRS.

A resident on the 2000 block of Jonathan Drive, located in the area of 17 Mile and Dequindre, reported that someone destroyed his concrete mailbox and the brick flowerbed at the base of the mailbox.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – 12-20-14 BET. 0030 & 0430 HRS.

A resident on the 13000 block of Westminister Drive, located in the area Canal and Schoenherr, reported that someone slashed all three of her blow up Christmas lawn decorations.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – 12-20-14 BET. 0200 & 1030 HRS.

A resident on the 33000 block of Groth Drive, located in the area of 14 Mile and Schoenherr, reported that someone broke out the back window of her vehicle which was parked in the driveway of her residence.

LARCENY – 12-20-14 BET. 1745 & 1835 HRS.

A patron of a fitness center located on the 44000 block of Mound Road reported that he hung his jacket in a locker, but did not lock it.  After working out and showering, the victim discovered someone stole his jacket, which contained his keys and cell phone.

LARCENY – 12-21-14

A resident on the 13000 block of Charrington Drive, located in the area of 19 Mile and Schoenherr, reported that someone stole the license plate from his vehicle.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – BET. 12-21-14 2100 HRS. & 12-22-14 0800 HRS.

A resident on the 3000 block of Yardly Court, located in the area of 15 Mile and Ryan, reported that someone smashed out the rear windshield of her vehicle which was parked in her driveway.

LARCENY – BET. 12-20-14 0600 HRS. & 12-22-14 0700 HRS.

The owner of a company on the 43000 block of Merrill Road, located in the area of 19 Mile and Mound, reported that someone came into the rear lot of the business and stole wheels from four vehicles. Cinder blocks were placed under the vehicle frames to facilitate the theft.

A resident on the 36000 block of Bagdad Drive, located in the area of Metropolitan Parkway and Schoenherr, reported that someone slashed his inflatable Christmas decorations that were on his lawn.

FRAUD

A resident on the 3000 block of Bates Drives, located in the area of 17 Mile and Ryan, reported that he received letters in the mail for confirmation of four credit cards that he supposedly applied for.  It was also discovered that someone had also tried to open three other accounts at retails stores and two were actually opened at Kohl’s and Victoria’s Secret and had charges on them.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – 12-23-14 0002 HRS.

A  resident on the 36000 block of Adele Drive, located in the area Metropolitan Parkway and Schoenherr, reported that someone threw a statue of the Virgin Mary, which was on his porch, through his front picture window.

LARCENY – 12-9-14 BET. 0800 HRS. & 1400 HRS.

A resident on the 39000 block of Chantilly Drive, located in the area of Utica and Seventeen Mile, reported that someone stole a delivered package from his front porch. 

FRAUD –

A resident on the 42000 block of Parkside Circle, located in the area of Van Dyke and M53, reported that someone gained access to her checking account and charged $700 in California.

FRAUD

A Warren resident reported that she found fraudulent charges on her credit card account.  The purchase was made at Walmart on Van Dyke, just north of 14 Mile.

FRAUD –

A resident on the 11000 block of Fairway Drive, located in the area of 15 Mile and Maple Lane, reported that unauthorized purchases were made using his credit card at Meijer in Royal Oak. 

LARCENY – 12-16-14 1407 HRS.  resident on 4000 block of 15 Mile Road, located near Ryan, reported that someone stole a package that was delivered by UPS.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY – BET. 12-23-14 2300 HRS. & 12-24-14 1230 HRS.

A Sterling Heights resident reported that his rented vehicle was damaged while it was parked at a friend’s apartment complex on the 34000 block of Birchgrove Drive, located in the area of 15 Mile and Van Dyke.   There were three large dents, scratch marks along the entire car, and two windows had been shattered.

VEHICLE THEFT – BET. 12-23-14 2300 HRS. & 12-24-14 0945 HRS.

A resident on the 34000 block of Baypointe Drive, located in the area of 15 Mile and Ryan, reported that his locked vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of his apartment.  The victim is up to date on his payments. 

LARCENY – 12-24-14 BET. 0030 HRS. & 0045 HRS.

A Clarkston resident reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle while it was parked in front of a friend’s house on the 33000 block of Stonewood Drive, located in the area of 14 Mile and Schoenherr.  The victim stated that her purse, which was on the passenger side front seat, was stolen.
