On 1-24-15 @ 1403 hrs the York City Police Dept. was dispatched to the area of Forry Ave. & Pierce Alley for a report of gun shots. Upon arrival, it was determined that a 15 yr. male had suffered a gun shot wound and was subsequently transported to York Hospital for treatment.

   An investigation into the shooting was initiated and investigators were able to identify a suspect in the shooting and arrest him shortly after the shooting. The suspect, Jerquan Shaquille Dickson, 22 yr old male from York, is charged with one count of Aggravated Assault and one count of Recklessly Endangering Another Person. At the time of this release, Dickson is at the York County Judicial Center awaiting processing and arraignment.
