Shooting Incident On W. Market St.

On 2 May 2015 at approx 10:26 pm. there was a shooting in the 200 blk of W. Market St.   There had been a fight inside 284 W. Market St at a private party and the group exited the party onto the 200 block of W. Market St.   Once outside, one individual displayed and fired a handgun.  Two individuals were struck. One victim (a juvenile from York) received a wound to his leg. The other victim (an adult from Baltimore Md) was shot in the eye. Both victims recieved emergency medical care form the York City Fire Department and were transported by White Rose Ambulance to York Hospital.  At the time of this alert, neither wound received by the victims is considered life threatening.

Anyone with information related to this incident is urged to contact the York City Police Department.
