SHOOTING SUSPECT WANTED

On 5-18-15 the York City Police Patrol division spotted Latrell Brown in a vehicle in the area of Beaver and Hamilton. Brown was wanted for the May 2nd shooting of two people in the 200 block of W. Market St. After the vehicle was stopped Brown exited the vehicle and attempted to flee from police on foot but was apprehended in the area of the Jefferson Center after a foot pursuit. brown was subsequently transported to Central Booking to be processed and arraigned on his pending charges.

On 5-2-15 @ 2330 the York City Police Department responded to the area of 284 W. Market St. for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers located two gunshot victims who were subsequently treated for the injuries they sustained.
After several days of investigating this incident the York City Police Detective Division identified a suspect in this shooting and have obtained a warrant for his arrest. The suspect is identified as Latrell Brown, an 18 yr. old black male from York. Brown is listed as 5'2" 130 lbs, dark complexion and walks with a limp.
Brown is wanted on 2 counts of Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Firearms not to be Carried Without a License.
