On 6/12/15 at approximately 2218 hours, the York City Police Department received a call via 911 of a single vehicle accident on N. Newberry St. at Madison Ave.  Upon arrival, officers discovered three people in the vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle Angel Berrios (20 years old) was deceased on-scene, while the other front seat passenger, Abdiel Vazquez-Soto (19 years old) was transported to York Hospital where he later was pronounced dead.  The third passenger, Fancisco Rivera (20 years old) was transported to York Hospital with less serious injuries.  A second call of shots fired was received nearly simultaneously of the call for the accident, where officers recovered evidence of a shooting, which was on Jefferson St. at Juniper St.  These two incidents appear to be related.  The driver and front passenger of the vehicle were shot at least once in the torso and an autopsy has been scheduled.  Anybody with information related to the accident or the shooting are encouraged to contact the York City Police Department at 717-846-1234.
