On August 25, 2015 at 8:20am City 911 received a call reporting a dead body in Sculpture Park located at 178 Main Street, the intersection of Bridge and Main Street.

Responding Officers found a white male, later identified as DONALD R LYNK a 57 year old City of Poughkeepsie resident, deceased in a small patch of trees and brush along the east side of the Park. There were no obvious signs of foul play.

The body was turned over to the Dutchess County Medical Examiner’s Office, during the autopsy nothing suspicious was found. The cause of death is “pending”, awaiting the results of the toxicology tests.
