Vehicle Crash 6-10-16 1st Blk S. George St.

On 6/10/16 at approximately 1115hrs York City Police responded to a vehicle crash in the 1st block of S. George St.   The crash involved a 2015 White Chevrolet Traverse and 5 pedestrians.  

The White Chevy, Driven by Robert Davis, Age 78 of York PA was driving southbound on S. George St. when it left the roadway and entered the sidewalk on the west side of George St., 1st Block.   The vehicle continued southbound on the sidewalk, crossing King St. and traveled another half block before coming to a stop in the area of Family First Health Clinic.   Along the way, it collided with 5 pedestrians, several street signs, trees, and buildings.  

The five victims listed below all suffered injuries and were transported to York Hospital.   As last reported, all are expected to survive.   The Driver, Robert Davis was also transported to YH for treatment.   The investigation is continuing to determine the cause of the crash.
