On 6/16/16 at approximately 6:20 PM, York City Police Officers heard several shots fired in the area of the south-end of the city.  Soon after, officers received a call of an unresponsive man on ground in the area of the 400 Block of S. Court St.  Upon arrival, officers discovered Davonne Swan, 27 years old, on the ground with gunshot wounds to his torso.   Ambulance responded and Swan was declared deceased at the scene.  If anyone has any information related to this incident, they are encouraged to call the York City Police Department at 717-846-1234, 717-849-2204 or text at 847-TIPS.
