On 10/5/16 the Drug Enforcement Agency and The York City Police arrested Jeff “Jeef” Smith (29 yr. old) of 718 W. King St.  This arrest concluded an 18 month joint investigation. After a short foot pursuit Smith was taken into custody in the 700 blk. of W. King St.  Seized during the investigation was over $100,000 in cocaine and a large amount of U.S. Currency.  Smith was charged with Delivery of Cocaine.  The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are anticipated.  Anyone with information on Smith’s cocaine enterprise is encouraged to call the York City Detective Bureau (849-2219).
