Jennifer Beatie was arrested, processed, and released for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and driving while revoked following a call about a hit and run collision that occurred in the area of North Main Road and East Landis Avenue.  The witness followed the accused vehicle from the area of the crash when it suddenly stopped and the driver and passenger switched seats.  The vehicle then continued towards 610 South Brewster Road (Wawa) when police made contact.  Beattie on scene was seated behind the driver’s seat and denied driving the vehicle.  She was unable to conduct sobriety tests to standards and was subsequently arrested after officers had a suspicion she was driving while under the influence of alcohol.  At the station, Beattie provided breath samples yielding almost three times the legal amount.  The passenger who was identified as the driver (Stephen Poplawski 37/M of the 700 block of Indian Way, Buena NJ ) of the hit and run crash was also charged for careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving while suspended.  A court date for the aforementioned matters are scheduled at the Vineland Municipal Court.
