On 6/25/2018, The City of Vineland Police Department investigated 2 armed robberies at local Major Petroleum gas stations on Main Rd. In both incidents, the subject approached the attendant carrying either a rifle or a shotgun wrapped in clothing before robbing the attendant and fleeing the area. No injuries have been reported at this time and the investigation is active and ongoing at this time.

Video surveillance is in the process of being reviewed by Detectives and the public is asked to contact this department with any information regarding these robberies.  In the 2nd robbery that occurred on N. Main Rd. at approximately 4:30 pm, several customers were seen getting gas as the robbery occurred. 

We are also working to establish links to several other gas station robberies that have occurred in the area over the past several days.
