FOR TARGETED INDIVIDUALS/GROUPS  

On Monday, November 21st and Monday, November 28^th from 6:00pm to 9:30pm, COMMUNITY MEDIATION SERVICES OF CENTRAL OHIO (CMS) will offer a FREE, TWO-PART CONFLICT RESOLUTION TRAINING CLASS for individuals who live, volunteer or work for a business or civic organization located in the following five neighborhoods:

• Weinland Park Area (43201)

• Northwold/Northland Areas (43231,43224,43211)

• Near South Side/Livingston Park Areas (43205, 43206)

• Franklinton Area (43222, 43223, 43215)

• King/Lincoln Area (43203)

The goal of this training which is being made possible through the gracious support of  United Way of Central Ohio, is to help increase the capacity of people living, working  and providing services in these targeted areas to resolve family, neighborhood and workplace/service delivery related conflicts in a peaceful and respectful manner.

Space is limited so training participants will be enrolled on a first come first serve basis: Organizations may send a maximum of 3 individuals to this training.

 PLEASE NOTE: Availability to complete both sessions is required

6 hr of Continuing Education Credit will be available for the following professionals who attend this training; Social Workers, Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Psychologists, Educators and Chemical Dependency Professionals;

The training will be held at: The Thurber Center, located at 91 Jefferson Ave. Columbus, Ohio.  FREE PARKING is available on site. (Pizza and soft drinks will be served beginning at 5:00pm)
