NRU Makes Felony Drug Arrest


On June 27, 2013 members of the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department Neighborhood Recovery Unit conducted a search warrant at 51 Lent St., Apartment 2. This search warrant was the result of a two month investigation into “crack” cocaine sales at the location.

 

As a result of the investigation, NRU members recovered a small quantity of “crack” cocaine, an AK-47 style rifle, a shotgun, forty (40) rounds of .223 ammunition, ten (10) rounds of .308 ammunition and one (1) shotgun round.   

 

Joseph W. Anderson (date of birth 2/5/68) the resident of this location, was arrested and charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the the third degree, a class B felony.  Additional criminal charges are pending against Joseph Anderson. 

 

James Page (date of birth 7/6/65), a City of Poughkeepsie resident, was arrested for an active Parole Warrant that was issued by the New York State Division of Parole on January 26, 2013.  

 

David H. John (date of birth 2/3/93) a City of Poughkeepsie resident, was arrested for an active Bench Warrant issued by the Town of Poughkeepsie Court on 12/5/11 for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a misdemeanor.

 

Keith P. Imperati (date of birth 6/9/94) a City of Poughkeepsie resident was arrested for an active Arrest Warrant issued by the Town of Poughkeepsie Court on 6/11/13 for Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor. 

 

Joseph Anderson was held in the City of Poughkeepsie lockup pending his arraignment.

 

James Page was turned over to the Dutchess County Sheriffs Office on the Parole Warrant.

 

David John and Keith Imperati were turned over to the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department.
