Man Charged in Burglary
On Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at approximately 7:45 a.m. employees of a business on Smith Street arrived at work and discovered that someone had made a hole into a wall of their building. As the employees were standing outside the building a subject began to climb out of the hole; one of the employees placed their vehicle in front of the hole blocking the man inside. The employees called 911 and City of Poughkeepsie Police arrived and removed the subject from the building. That subject, TERRY M NALBANDIAN, a 50-year-old homeless city resident was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, a Class D felony. He was also charged with criminal mischief and petit larceny, misdemeanors. He was remanded to Dutchess County Jail.
