Search Warrant at 19 Gray St. Leads to Arrests
On March 27, 2014 members of the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department Neighborhood Recovery Unit conducted a search warrant at 19 Gray Street second floor. This search warrant was the end result of an investigation into illegal drug sales at the location.
As a result of the investigation, officers recovered a quantity of “crack” cocaine, heroin, a quantity of .380 and .38 special caliber ammunition and $757 in United States Currency.
Jamel Miller (date of birth 5/18/79) of 19 Gray Street second floor, was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony.
Kimberly Drake (date of birth 1/01/67) of 19 Gray Street second floor, was arrested on outstanding warrants including two (2) bench warrants from the City of Poughkeepsie for loitering for drugs, a bench warrant from the Town of Lloyd for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, and two (2) arrest warrants from the New York State Police for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Both subjects were arraigned at City of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to the custody of the Dutchess County Jail.
