Car Tire Thefts

               District 18 is currently experiencing a rash of tire thefts off of motor vehicles during the overnight period.  These incidents have occurred on Clare Avenue, Ernest Avenue, Oak Street, Sierra Road and Braeburn Road.  One occurred on Fletcher Street on District 5 as well.  Cars being targeted are Hondas and Acuras.  If you see anyone looking as though they are changing a tire during the night time period, you are urged to call 911 and have Boston Police Officers respond and check out the suspicious activity.  Citizens are also reminded to not leave any items of value in their car at any time.
