Cambridge PD: Neighborhood 5 - Cambridgeport


Police Requesting Assistance


During the evening of September 4, detectives were investigating a drug transaction that initiated in another part of the city and ended in the Pearl St. neighborhood. A foot pursuit took place throughout the area and four individuals were arrested. Two thorough searches of the area have been conducted for evidence and much has been recovered. We are asking for your cooperation with the following:
 
1.   Please check your yards and the area around your homes for any suspicious items. 
 
2.   If you find anything, please DO NOT TOUCH IT. We ask that you call Cambridge Emergency Communications immediately by dialing 617-349-3300 and inform them of what you have found.
 

Please note that there is no danger to the neighborhood. We simply want to recover as much evidence as possible. As always, the Cambridge Police Department appreciates your assistance.
