Homicide Unit Investigation  
                                                                                               
On December 17, 2008, at 1:48 p.m., Cincinnati Police responded to the 3300 block of McHenry Avenue for a report of a shooting. District Three Officers responded and located a black male, 40 years of age, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 
 
The victim has been identified as KENNETH PHELPS, black male, 40 years old (10/11/68).
 
This is an ongoing investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit and the HamiltonCounty Prosecutor’s Office.
