The Detroit Police Department is proud to announce the implementation of an innovative crime prevention tool called the "Alert Network”.  This program is designed to provide you updates of crimes trends, description of wanted suspects, missing persons, crime prevention tips, and other pertinent information pertaining to businesses and the communities safety.  Alerts are delivered via e-mail and are also available via text message to your cell phone.

 

 

To continue building a stronger alliance between the community and police, your assistance is also needed.  We need you to be the extra eyes and ears in your neighborhood.  The Detroit Police Department can now receive vital tips from you “anonymously” by submitting information that may assist in the prevention of crime and/or apprehension of wanted persons.
