On 10/11/2016 at 5:15am, members from the Vineland Police Department were dispatched to 2196 W. Landis Ave. (Wingate Inn) in regard to a possible unconscious person. Upon arrival at the scene, officers were directed to a room where they discovered the body of a 33 year old white male subject, later identified as Ivan S. Strayer II of Altoona, PA, who was deceased.  Further investigation revealed that the deceased subject had been shot multiple times.

As a result of a cooperative investigation between the Vineland Police Department and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office, a suspect was identified and ultimately apprehended. This subject is identified as Larry John Pulcine Jr. of Duncansville, PA. The investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect were acquainted with each other through their employment with a company that was doing work in the area. Bail was set at $750,000 full cash by the Hon. Robert G. Malestein, J.S.C.
