Sergeant Jim Wergers (aka: Big Country).  Jim began serving the public in 1982.  Jim worked for the Hamilton County Clerk’s office.  On April 5th, 1994, Jim began his career with the Delhi Township Police Department.  Jim served the residents of Delhi Township for more than 23 years.  Jim began his career as an officer and was promoted to Corporal in October of 2006.  Two years later, Jim was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.    

Jim, along with Sergeant Badge #48 never to worn again, retired effective January 29th, 2017.  

On behalf of the Delhi Township Police Department, and Delhi community, I would like to thank Jim for his dedication and service to the residents of Delhi Township.  My you have a healthy and prosperous retirement!!
