On June 19, 2017 the Vineland Police Department had received information that the store owner of 312 W Landis Avenue, more specifically Larry Bostic owner of Cool Breeze Ice Cream Parlor, may be inappropriately video monitoring his employees while they were in the changing room.

     Detective Charles Mackafee was assigned as lead investigator and through detailed interviews of employees along with exploring several different investigative avenues, he was able to develop enough information to corroborate the initial allegation.

     On June 22, 2017 the Vineland Police Department Detective Bureau executed a search warrant on the property of 312 W Landis Avenue locating a small camera device that was surreptitiously placed inside the employee changing room. This camera device lead to a monitor and recorder that was in the owners locked office. As of this time in the investigation, all of the identified victims are juvenile females.

     Larry Bostic (B/M/65) of 312 W Landis Avenue was arrested and charged with 5 counts of Child Endangerment and 5 counts of Invasion of Privacy. He was processed and held at the Cumberland County Jail.

     The investigation is ongoing and being followed up by the Detective Charles Mackafee.
