Brooklyn Park, MN – On June 22, 2021, at 9:48 p.m. Brooklyn Park officers were dispatched to the Nice Family African Market (7401 Regent Ave) for a shooting.   Witnesses reported that a male suspect was sitting in his car and opened fire upon another male who was walking in front of the store. The victim passed away from numerous gun shot wounds.  The investigation is ongoing at this time and there is limited information about the suspect description or motive for the shooting. More information will be released when it becomes available.
