About
The Clearwater Police Department has a rich history of reaching out to the Hispanic community. From our Hispanic Outreach initiative to our efforts to increase the number of bi-lingual police officers and staff, we strive to "bridge the gap" in communicating with our Spanish speaking residents. The CitizenObserver Program, which allows us to send e-mail and text message alerts, in Spanish, is another example of our efforts to increase our communication with those who may not speak English or who may feel more comfortable communicating in Spanish. If you live, work, or have a business in the City of Clearwater, you can sign up for this watch group to receive alerts and information, in Spanish, relevant to both the Hispanic community and the City of Clearwater. Officer Raymond Croze is the Clearwater Police Department's Hispanic Liaison Officer assigned to identify and solve problems specifically within the Hispanic community. He can be reached by telephone at 727-224-7240 or e-mail him at raymond.croze@myclearwater.com.
